On April 4, 2019 PFAF Founder Rick Friedman presented the inaugural Philadelphia Outstanding Artist award to Dina Wind. It was accepted in her memory by her husband, Jerry and son, John.
The award included a solo exhibition of Wind's work presented by the Bridgette Mayer Gallery.
"We are so proud to accept the Artistic Excellence award on Dina’s behalf. Dina was a passionate artist, balancing a love for abstract expressionism with environmentalism and a belief in the power of art to change lives and the world we live in. She was also deeply connected to the larger Philadelphia art community in many ways; as a patron, board member, collector, and all-round cheerleader. So it feels fitting that she be acknowledged in this first edition of the Philadelphia Fine Arts Fair. We thank Rick Friedman and everyone involved with the fair for the honor."
