1999 Wind Challenge Artist
Qimin Liu earned a BFA from the Traditional Opera Institute in China, an MA from Iowa State University, and an MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. His work is large and lush expressions of his search for a way to walk between realism and abstraction, conceptualism and visual imagery, and modernism and tradition.
