1994 Wind Challenge Artist
William Cromar earned a BArch from Virginia Tech and an MFA from the School of Design at University of Pennsylvania. In 2008, he cofounded TangenT ArT CollaboraTive: a group that created mixed-media, project-based, immersive art environments exploring socially relevant and politically current themes through transcendent metaphor. Cromar taught at the University of Pennsylvania, was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the School of Architecture at Philadelphia University, a visiting critic at Wesleyan University, and chaired the Penn State Abington College Art Program.
