1992 Wind Challenge Artist
Jeanne Jaffe earned a BFA from Tyler School of Art and an MFA from Albert University in New York. She has received numerous awards and grants including Outstanding Artistic Development from the Gottlieb Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Mid Atlantic/NEA. the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, and Mino Artist Residency in Japan among others. Jaffe is a Professor Emeritus of Fine Arts at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and has been a visiting artist each fall semester at Xian Academy of Fine Arts in Xian, China for the past five years
