Gordon R. Smith studied at Temple University and Tyler School of Art. He is a photojournalist whose photographs are in the collections of the Library of Congress, the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Center for Creative Photography in Arizona, the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, and many other American and European collections. Smith's work has been included in many solo and group exhibitions in the US, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, France, Germany, and the Netherlands.
