FRINGE FESTIVAL

Leah Stein Dance and Relâche Ensemble with Dina Wind Sculptures

For 2018's Fringe Festival, the Leah Stein Dance Company has created GROUNDWORKS, two original works inspired by and responding to public sculptures by Dina Wind, and performed to music by the Relâche Ensemble.

At the Woodmere Art Museum, GROUNDWORKS was performed with Spring & Triangle and Harry Bertoia's Free Interpretation of Plant Forms.

At Grounds for Sculpture, GROUNDWORKS was performed on and around Harp of David #1.

The sculptures were activated through music and dance, engaging the audiences and providing a new context with which to view Wind's magestic works.
