On August 6, 2025 the foundation took a field trip to Grounds for Sculpture to take part in their 2025 Teacher Summer Institute. As part of the three day professional development workshop, 20 educators had the opportunity to learn about Dina Wind, discover our lesson plans exploring abstraction, 3-D thinking and assemblage, and make some art of their own.
John Wind welcomed the group and spoke about Dina and her practice. His husband and foundation Education Director Bill Osman then introduced the day’s lesson and guided the group through the concepts and steps involved. A fun, educational, and productive time was had by all!
