We will focus on King's legacy inspiring artists, from the poetry of Amanda Gorman to the sculpture of Hank Willis Thomas, the filmmaking of Arthur Jafa and more. Art that continues to celebrate Dr. King's ideals and challenge audiences to confront injustice ~
We are honored to be joined by co-moderators Bobbi Booker (@bobbibooker) and Eric Marsh Sr. (@marshericsr) for an afternoon sure to be enriched by their knowledge, insights, and personal ties to the Philadelphia community.

About The Panelists:
Bobbi I. Booker, Managing Editor of PlanPhilly at WHYY News, is a seasoned multimedia journalist with over 20 years of experience. A graduate of the Master of Journalism program at Temple University’s Lew Klein College of Media and Communication, she is also a celebrated host on WRTI 90.1 FM, spotlighting jazz and soul music. A founding member of NABJ’s Philadelphia Chapter and current president of The Pen & Pencil Club, America’s oldest press club, Ms. Booker has chronicled pivotal moments in African American history. Her previous work with The Philadelphia Tribune, the nation’s oldest Black newspaper, has earned her four NNPA Merit Awards.
Eric Marsh Sr. is an advocate for healthy families and a champion for Black men and boys, and promotes the importance of healthy fatherhood practices. He has recently served as a Board member for NAMEN (North American Men Engage) and Board Chairman for the Men's Center for Growth and Change. He is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Fathering Circle, a 501c3 peer support organization for fathers and father figures. He is currently the Manager of the Community and Engagement team for WHYY News, Philadelphia's PBS and NPR affiliate station.
