Homage to Smith was originally shown at Dina's 1986 Nexus Gallery, Philadelphia exhibition. Smith refers to David Smith, pioneering sculptor and one of Wind's heros. It then was installed outside the Wind home in Gladwyne, PA where it developed its rich patina over many years. Bridgette Mayer exhibited it again in 2015 during Dina Wind: Transformations, and it is included in the exhibition catalogue.
