Thomas Krens was the keynote speaker for the event, which this year was held as part of the annual Herzliya Conference, the ‘Davos of Israel’, hosted by IDC Herzliya. Mr. Krens served for 25 years as Director and Chief Artistic Officer of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, NY. He was responsible for establishing the Guggenheim museums in Bilbao, Berlin, Las Vegas, and Abu Dhabi.

For its inaugural event, a panel discussion was held at IDC Herzliya about the power of art from the perspectives of Israeli museums and artists.
