DINA WIND SCHOLARSHIPS
2024/25 Tyra Coach

Tyra Coach, also known as "Ty Macasso," is a visual artist, muralist, and creative visionary from Prince George's County, Maryland. She recently earned her Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA), where she was part of the institution's final graduating class. She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art from Delaware State University.
Tyra's practice boldly intersects fine art and fashion, drawing on personal, cultural, and stylistic influences to create work that lives beyond the canvas. Her MFA thesis explored how fine artists navigate the fashion world, highlighting the increasingly blurred boundaries between the two disciplines. This passion has led her to collaborate with musicians, designers, and entrepreneurs throughout the DMV area-offering creative direction, graphic design, and visual identity support.

Cassaundra Flor is an artist exploring ideas of space, intimacy, and relationships through painting and printmaking. Her work has been exhibited in the 88th and 89th "Philip's Mill Juried Art Show" at Philip's Mill Community Association, the "Young Visions'' group exhibition at the Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie, and "Art of the State 2019" at the State Museum of Pennsylvania. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Fine Arts at Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
