Need based scholarships

"In a major step toward realizing Dr. Barnes’s original mission of making art education more accessible and in line with our goal of having the Barnes audiences reflect the demographics of the city of Philadelphia, the Barnes began offering need-based scholarships for adult education courses in 2016. With the Barnes’s pivot to online classes in March 2020 due to the temporary closure of our building, we have greatly increased the number of scholarships offered and have expanded our reach to engage participants across the country."
