Originally exhibited at Dina's 2006 Nexus Gallery, Philadelphia show. In 2017, Curator Marsha Moss selected the work for inclusion in Penn Medicine's Perelman Center collection.

The Perelman Center was designed to create an ideal environment for patient-focused care and collaboration among health professionals. The Perelman Center is home to Penn Medicine’s Abramson Cancer Center, radiation oncology, cardiovascular medicine and an outpatient surgical pavilion.  Art is integral to the conception of the Center.

In Moss's words, "Dina Wind repurposed early drawings by tearing and rolling paper into new configurations, echoing the movement and rhythm of waves, and of life. The spirit of exploration and renewed vigor was central to Wind's aesthetic.

The Dina Wind Art Foundation empowers living artists, builds community, and supports arts education.

We are inspired by the legacy of Dina Wind (1938-2014), a trailblazing artist and arts advocate whose bold, abstract sculptures challenged stereotypes and embraced sustainability.
