1980 Wind Challenge Artist
Richard Ciocco was born in Amsterdam in 1913 and served in the US Army in 1943 as a captain in the European Theater of operations. For his effort, he received the Victory Medal and two Battle Stars for service in Italy and Sicily. After retiring in 1979 from a career as a television technician, Ciocco became an accomplished oil painter.
