1980 Wind Challenge Artist
Judith Brodie received her BA from Mount Holyoke College in 1974 and her MFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 1976. She was the curator and head of American and modern prints and drawings at the National Gallery of Art in Washnigton DC from 1987 to 2018. Prior to her appointment at NGA, Brodie was a Clark Fellow at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute in 2010, has been on the editorial board of Print Quarterly since 2009, and  was a visiting artist at Birgit Skiöld's Print Workshop, London.
