1985 Wind Challenge Artist
Thomas Durnell, born in 1959 in Ohio, studied sculpture at the Stella Elkins Tyler School of Art at Temple University and graduated with a BA in Fine Arts in 1983. Durnell was also the Facilities Director at the Woodmere Art Museum for 34 years. The museum also acquired two of Durnell's artwork into their permanent collection.
