Chinese-Korean American, native of the Monterey Peninsula, for forty seven years Leonard Han has been an active artist in Monterey, Santa Cruz, CA, Philadelphia PA, and South Bend, Indiana. He has exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions throughout Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan, Chicago, IL and California. As a painter, he has received awards for exhibitions and grants, including: an Individual Artist Fellowship Grant, Michiana Arts and Sciences, Indiana 1990-91, a grant from the Pollack-Krasner Foundation, New York 1989-90, and Residence Artist Grant from Warsaw, Indiana 1989. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
