2023 Wind Challenge Artist
Lena Kolb earned a BS in Education Elementary/ Special Education from Temple University and an MFA in Fibers and Materials Studies from Tyler School of Art and Architecture. The focus of her art practice is using weaving, dying and image making to reflect on the power of fantasy and memory to shape our understanding of the world and our place within it. She taught at University of the Arts and is currently a professor in the Fibers and Material Studies departments at Tyler School of Art and Architecture.
