2007-08 Wind Challenge Artist
Both Billy Blaise Dufala and Steven Dufala received their certificates from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Their work explores the life of everyday objects: the things we casually cast off and those that we value unnecessarily or with unnatural fervor. Consumption, use-value, sentimentality, exaggeration, efficiency, and waste are explored through a dark and humorous lens.
