2006-07 Wind Challenge Artist
Jay Oliver Cummings earned a BFA from the University of Montana and an MFA from Southern Illinois University. For the work Cummings made for this challenge, he stated that "These children's blocks are part of a series of works exploring tension between the joy and exultation of new life and new beginnings, and the fragility of these new beginnings."
