2005 Wind Challenge Artist
Mauro Zamora studied at Texas Wesleyan University, earned a Certificate in Painting and an MFA from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. He is the recipient of many awards including the Pew Fellowship in the Arts in 2008 and a Visual Artist Fellowship from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts in 2005. Zamora is also is co-founder of PLM associates: a think tank project exploring post-capitalism and the impact of globalization on under-represented peoples around the planet.
