2004 Wind Challenge Artist
Julie York earned a BFA from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver and an MFA from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. She has participated in Artist Residencis in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Oregon, Denmark, and Japan. York's artwork exists in the permanent collections of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Racine Art Museum in Wisconsin, the University of Oregon, and the Schein - Joseph International Museum of Ceramic Art in New York among other places.
