2003 Wind Challenge Artist
Jennifer Levonian earned a BA from The College of William and Mary, and studied at Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Levonian defines this body of work as being about the “household dilemma”. Her works on paper employ graphite, acrylic paint, and collage to portray figures in juxtaposition to schematic drawings of household furniture and decor. Levonian plays with issues of control and organization and their elusive nature in every day life.
