Debbie Lerman is a photography-based mixed-media artist in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated with a degree in English from Harvard in 1991 and worked as a freelance writer for 25 years. She has been a working artist and photographer since 2009. Her artwork has been exhibited nationally and internationally, in solo and group shows. Debbie’s practice expands upon the work of the Patterns and Decorations feminists of the 1970s -- mixing traditionally marginalized crafts with modern digital techniques to disrupt social hierarchies.
