Hale Allen studied with sculptor Joe Moss and landscape architect Ted Browning while at University of Delaware and later studied with master oil painter, James McGinley for 4 years at Newark School of Fine Arts and Industrial Design. Hale also earned an MFA in Painting from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art in 1994.
