1998 Wind Challenge Artist
Sonya Pollack studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and earned a BFA from Philadelphia College of Art. Using layers of pigment Sonya Pollack searches the known toward the unknown in a journey inward. She creates surfaces that are abraded or dissolve in places, drawing the viewer into a uncharted world of painted space.
