1994 Wind Challenge Artist
Hilary Harp earned a BFA in Sculpture from Parsons School of Design, an MFA in Sculpture from Tyler School of Art, and studied at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. She creates sculptures, installations and media projects which explore new hybrid forms, and challenge categories, particularly categories of high and low, male and female, technology and craft. Harp has exhibited her work widely including the Gale Gates Gallery, The Sculpture Center, White Columns and Esso Gallery in New York City; Delaware Center for Contemporary Art in Wilmington, DE; The Philadelphia Art Alliance and the Samuel Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia, PA, and Bucheon Gallery in San Francisco.
