1990 Wind Challenge Artist
Jack Wax earned a BFA in Glass from Tyler School of Art at Temple University and an MFA in Sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design. He has done residencies in Istanbul, Turkey at Cam Ocagi, at the Corning Museum in New York, and on the Island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea. wax has also worked at the Smithsonian Institute, the LA County Museum, Toyama City, Japan, Ibaraki Cit,y Japan, Cam Ocagi in Istanbul, Turkey, the Phillip Morris Collection, the Markel collection, and the Tittot Museum in Taipei. He is currently a Professor of Glass at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Art.
