1989 Wind Challenge Artist
Judith Schaechter earned a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design Glass Program. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally including in New York, Los Angeles and Philadelphia, The Hague, and Vaxjo, Sweden. Schaechter has received many grants and awards including the Guggenheim Fellowship, two National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships in Crafts, and The Pew Fellowship in the Arts among others.
