1983 Wind Challenge Artist
Evan David Summer earned a BS in Chemistry from State University of New York College at Cortland, a BFA from State University of New York at Buffalo, and an MFA in Printmaking from Yale University School of Art. He was a Artist in Residence at University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia from 1978-87 and taught at numerous colleges and universities; most recenty Summer taught printmaking at Kutztown University for over 30 years. His work has been shown in over 300 exhibitions worldwide and is in many museum collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, National Gallery of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art
