1983 Wind Challenge Artist
Linda Besemer earned a BFA from Indiana University and an MFA from Tyler School of Art at Temple University. Over the course of her career, she has recevied numerous awards including the The George A. and Eliza Howard Foundation Fellowship in Painting from 2001-02 and the Rome Prize from 2002-03. Besemer's paintings are held in public and private collections all over the world.
