1982 Wind Challenge Artist
Hester Stinnett earned a BFA from the Hartford Art School at University of Hartford and an MFA from the Tyler School of Art of Temple University. She received a Grant in Aid of Research from Temple University in 1998 and an Artist in Residence at the Fabric Workshop in 2003. Stinett is also a Professor Emerita in Printmaking at Tyler School of Art of Temple University where she taught for 40 years.
