Susan Chrysler White earned a BA from the University of California, Berkley and an MFA from the University of California, Davis. She was a professor of drawing and painting at the University of Iowa School of Art and Art History and taught at institutions such as the Cooper Union School of Art, Skidmore College and Carnegie Mellon University. White is a multimedia artist working in sculpture, acrylic and enamel paint, drawing, and textiles.
