1981 Wind Challenge Artist
Born in 1952, Clarisse Carnell earned her BFA in Photography from the University of New Mexico and later moved to Philadelphia to earn her MFA in Photography from Tyler School of Art at Temple University. Carnell worked as the Registrar of Collections at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for over 30 years and was a specialist in pinhole and vintage large format photography.
