This summer, ten 8-11 year olds gathered to "Explore the Dimensions of Sculpture." Dina Wind's art, and in particular, Spring & Triangle and Jewel #5, both works prominently displayed on the Woodmere campus, served as anchors for the lessons. The 4-day class was taught by Woodmere Art Museum's director of Education, Hildy Tow, and guest teachers Bill Osman and John Wind. Students had a fun, creative, educational and productive week, and their exhibition on the final day, attended by parents, grandparents, siblings, and Woodmere staff, was truly a celebration.
Stay tuned for more classes. and new offers on lesson plans for families and educators.
